Frequently asked questions
General guidance. We confirm the details for your rental when we reply.
What licence do I need?
A valid driving licence that covers motorcycles is required. An International Driving Permit (IDP) with the motorcycle category is strongly recommended. If you're not sure your licence is enough, tick “Not sure” on the booking form and we'll talk it through.
Is there a deposit?
No. We don't take a deposit.
Do you keep my passport?
No. We never keep your passport. We take a copy of it at handover.
Is insurance included?
We'll explain insurance cover at handover, including what is and isn't covered. Please ask any questions before you ride. It's also worth checking whether your travel insurance covers riding a motorbike in Thailand.
Do you provide helmets?
Yes — two free helmets per bike, per rental. Helmets are required by law in Thailand for rider and passenger.
Is fuel included?
Rentals of 1 month (30 days) or longer come with a free full tank of fuel. For shorter rentals, fuel isn't included.
Can you deliver to my hotel?
Yes, for rentals of 7 days or more: delivery and collection are free within 10 km of our Khao Takiab shop. Shorter rentals are collected from the shop. For further areas we confirm when you message us.
Is my booking confirmed when I send the form?
No. The form sends a request. We reply to confirm availability, price and handover — only then is it booked.
How do I pay?
Nothing is paid online. We'll confirm the payment options when we reply.
Can I extend my rental?
Message us before your return date. Extensions depend on availability.
What if something goes wrong with the bike?
Call us. We'll explain what to do in case of a breakdown or accident at handover.
Anything else I should know about riding in Thailand?
Traffic drives on the left. Always wear a helmet, carry your licence, and ride within your experience — if you haven't ridden a larger bike before, a smaller scooter is the safer choice.
